Labour shortages force Japan to prise open door to migrant workers

Prime Minister's Shinzo Abe's government wants to open the door to foreign blue-collar workers as early as next April, granting visas for up to five years to those employed in industries facing chronic shortages. But the move will not come without tension, even from inside the PM's own party.

Secret Service recover package addressed to Clinton in Westchester, suburb north of Manhattan, and a second package addressed to Obama residence in Washington. CNN evacuates its New York bureau Wednesday after a suspicious device, which police described as a metal pipe with wires, was found in the mailroom of the Time Warner Center.
